I want to thank every one of the 20,000 subscribers to this blog for the joy you added to my fathers life through your weekly commentary. My dad really enjoyed reading all of your thoughts, philosophies and ideas. He thought all of you were brilliant. This short video is a gesture of my gratitude. (1:32 )

Hey Steve, My father (the funniest man ever on planet earth) died on January 17, 2012. When I met you a few months ago in the men’s room at the Hyatt in Chicago, I had no idea that you had just lost your father. I appreciate your loss now and just want to say “keep on carrying the torch” because there ain’t anything else better to do. ~Domenic
Thanks, Domenic, and I’m sorry for your loss as well. Hang in there.
Steve,
Just saw this video of your father’s passing.
Praying for continual blessings from God to your family.
Wonderful blog you have btw!
Regards,
John
Thanks, John
Steve, I just saw the video about your dad’s passing. Having lost 2 relatives in 2010 as well as almost losing my mom, I know you and your family must be hurting right now. You and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.
I’ll start off by saying sorry to hear about your loss, I obviously I didn’t know your father however you’re a direct reflection of him, so I’m sure it’s safe to say he was a good man, I recently watched a lady speak about her husband passing away unexpectedly and she made this comment I thought would be worth mentioning.
“Everyone has their own view of death and because I was graced with the presence of this beautiful person for short time, I choose NOT to be set back by his death, But to be inspired by his life” I thought wow, what’s that worth for someone to feel that way about you? How would you feel about yourself? What type of life would you be living for people to feel that way about you? Yes I was in the spiritual side and mindset of the 177 MTS Personal critical thinking questions, we should reflect on from time to time.
Thank you, for your work it’s original, truthful, inspiring, and applicable in every area of our society. You father would be proud. Make it a Great Day…
Hi Steve,
Condolences sir,
I’m sure he is proud of you making a difference in the world!
God be with and yours in this time of loss & celebration of a life! Edward Michael Raymond
Steve,
I am sorry I did not see this sooner. I am so glad your Dad loved reading your blog and it gives me pride to have helped you do something online that gave him joy and pride as well.
It is so hard to lose your loved ones, my dad 2001 and mom 2008, so I do know the loss, but you get comfort from knowing others really care, I really care and know I will always be your friend.
Hang in there buddy.
You are proud of your dad, so am I.
VIsit him, hear him sing and celebrate both dad’s lives.
