  1. Hi! steve! thank you so much for your Wisdom, and timing. Please send me your book! WE MUST UNDERSTAND THE EVIL BEFORE WE CAN FACE THE GOOD! INFORMATION OVERLOAD IS PROBLEM NOWDAYS. bUT, vERY LITTLE WISDOM. TALK TO You again soon. michael

  2. Early in my working life I took participated in what was one of Larry Wilsons first sales training courses. I wish I could remember the title, but it was cutting edge at the time. He is truly one of the pioneers

  3. When I began reading your book, I would take one tip at a time and reflect on what it meant for me. The way you lay this book out is very intuitive and easy-to-digest. The explanation, the quotations and the action step of the day along with building a mental toughness resource library. As a National Director of Training & Development, I’ve evaluated many different books in the field of development, this is by far the easiest to comprehend and the most useful to apply for day-to-day challenges with mental toughness. I’ve even started incorporating this world class language in the large customer experience initiative we are rolling out in our company for our claims, agents, marketing, operations and corporate office nationally! Thank you, Michelle Strbich

  4. I couldn’t understand some parts of this article Welcome to Mental Toughness Blog.com!, but I guess I just need to check some more resources regarding this, because it sounds interesting.

  5. I only just noticed the comment you left on my blog (about Sharapova and Radwanska). Thanks for dropping by, and come by any time. Good luck with your new blog.

  6. Steve…GREAT STUFF! You hit and exposed a nerve! In my quest to think and act like the world class , I am starting to realize that I must change my way of thinking. Trying to seek mentors, gathering effective material and prioritizing my time has become exciting as well as uncomfortable, expensive and timely. A sense of urgency has definitely struck as I try to father a family of 6 healthy children while trying to make ends meet. Seeking and enjoying freedoms and personal fullfillments along with the feeling of not reaching my potential continues to be the driving forces. I look forward to more and embracing the responsibility of excellence! Thanks

  7. Steve,

    As always, THINK BIG!!!!!

  8. Steve, Hello from Philly. Love the Blog. Still moving forward with MTC and my vision! Miss the conference calls every Monday. This is a great way for all of us to stay in touch. Wait until Sherri discovers it…..

  9. Steve,
Your Book is awesome, we use it with our Real Estate Team, I have the Middle Class vs. World Class posted on our board at the office and at home on the refrigerator. Every month I print out one of the awesome charts from your book and post it on our motivation board in the office. One of my favorites is the head shot with classification divisions. My goal is to read all of the books recommended in each chapter of your book. Yours is the best resource book I have found! Thanks for all your hard work putting this book together.
    Respectfully, Constance Real Estate Broker

  10. John, Glad you like the middle class vs. world class message. The Paris Hilton content is your entertainment, which doesn’t mean it falls into middle class thinking. Personally, I’m a big fan of the national enquirer. My point is not buy into the middle class philosophy. Thanks so much for your comment!

  11. Polly, Thanks for your comment. I’m glad the 177 Mental Toughness Secrets book is working for you! Good luck in your speech!

  12. Excellent. How refreshing it is to hear this from someone who is easy to relate to and audibly convincing in both verbiage and enthusiasm. I think I’ve mentioned to you that I listen to your 177 Secrets book on CD daily. I’m well past my previously set listening record of Styx CDs….Great stuff, Steve, thanks!

  13. This stuff is so right on that it’s embarrassing. I’m still on the first few pages because I can’t move on until I master them. But it’s so simple and so doable.

  14. Steve,

This is excellent I like the way you told the story and took the side of the new person. I didnt know you thought that way before I thought you always were mentally tough. This is great news because it means its much simpeler than I thought it was because if you can do it I can do it!

    Clem

  15. Steve, great site. Instant feedback. Awesome. My ROV today ia 900, I’m on my way to LV for a keynote tomorrow.

  16. thanks, please keep writing on this subject. you are the only one i actually understand – not just theory = actual steps!

  17. Michelle, thanks for your reply. Glad you like the book. Check out http://www.mentaltoughnessmastery.com for more information on the subjects you mentioned. I developed the “World Class Language” over the last 23 years. The idea was to take all the etheral concepts I learned from the super acheivers I interviewed and organize them into a more user friendly, practical package that a grade school kid could understand. Whereas most Americans are striving to become a member (and stay a member) of the middle class, the great ones know middle class thinking is a formula for losing. Keep studying this topic see what happens to your results. Thanks for your questions and I hope you’ll continue to be a part of our mental toughness blog community!

  18. Steve, great information. I have read your book and it is the best personal development book I’ve ever read. It is a must read for every person that is going for greatness – in anything. I have a quick question = where did you come up with the “language” you use in the book: ie= world class, middle, upper, ROV, Spirit vs Ego, Amateur vs. Pro. I only ask because I love it that I can now FINALLY put a lable/name on my thoughts that relate to my behavior.
