This is a television interview I did recently in Sydney, Australia, via satellite from the NBC affiliate in Atlanta. This is one of the most popular shows in Australia. As you can see, no matter how serious the topic, the Aussies always like to have a good time. I’ve done several speaking tours in Australia over the years, and they are among my favorite audiences in the world.    Steve Siebold  (4:30)

  1. People who are successful know they don’t have all the answers so they constantly ask questions and look for the answers to what they’re trying to accomplish.

Likewise, peole who are not successful believe they have all or most of the answers and aren’t looking much for what they don’t know. Instead, they look for things that validate what they already know to prove to themselves they are right.

It’s not only OK to be wrong – it’s required if you want success.

There’s a thought for the day.

  2. Very nice and very clear – the budget analogy is perfect. Even the excuse makers for the most part get it – they just don’t come to terms with it – the nail doesn’t hurt hard enough or apathy takes over, that “I don’t give a damn” attitude.

And we’ve all had that attitude in many ways – this is universal. You hit the nail on the head: find out what successful people think, how they think, and reprogram your thinking to a new way is what you’re saying.
