This is one of the great questions of the ages. As many of us chase money, success, excitement and a host of other desirables, are we sure we’ll want them once we get them? Most of the population operates from a fear and scarcity based consciousness. It seems to be rooted in our DNA. The people that transcend this lower level thinking have usually had exposure to someone operating from love and abundance. The difference in these two mindsets determines whether you will strive to thrive or simply survive. The death threats and hate mail I received after my recent appearance on MSNBC’s Hardball with Chris Matthews is yet another example of American’s emotional immaturity and inability to discuss important social issues like gun control through logic-based critical thinking. How can we solve these major issues when we are responding with emotionally-charged thinking to new ideas? Many of the emails I received read like they were written by children, with excessive use of the “F-word’ being the norm. Until America grows up emotionally and begins to approach major issues like critical thinking adults we will continue our downward slide. Watch
