Wanted: Mental Toughness Coaches for Weight Loss

As many of you know, I’ve traveled the world preaching the mental toughness message, especially when it comes to losing weight and getting healthy. I’ve appeared on every major TV and radio network, debated some of the most celebrated doctors in the country on this issue, and written OP-ED pieces in dozens of newspapers and magazines on why mental toughness is the solution to the worldwide obesity epidemic. And while mental toughness training has helped thousands of people lose weight, I realized a few years ago that my single voice would never be enough to save millions of fat people from

Steve Siebold on the Today Show

This interview on the Today generated three death threats. The show was bombarded with email after my appearance. 50% of the people loved my message, and the other half wanted to kill me!  Thank God for mental toughness! After completing an international media tour for my book, Die Fat or Get Tough, 101 Differences in Thinking Between Fat People and Fit People, I’m even more concerned about the obesity epidemic. With the combination of television, radio, magazine and print interviews, we were able to reach approximately 30 million people in the last 6 months. I’ve received thousands of emails. The level

Good Morning America interviews Steve Siebold

I just returned from being interviewed on Good Morning America in New York City, and i was really impressed with what a great job they did. Of all the TV interviews I’ve  done on Mental Toughness, I like this one the best. They just posted the interview on the ABC NEWS website at http://abcnews.go.com/video/playerIndex?id=8437186 I’ll look forward to your comments. Steve Siebold

Europe is just as delusional about weight loss as America

I just returned from conducting the Bill Gove Speech Workshop in London, where I also did five national interviews on my new book, Die Fat or Get Tough: 101 Differences in Thinking Between Fat People and Fit People. It was an honor to be on the world-famous BBC network, but what I found was the Europeans are just as delusional about being fat as Americans are. What is the deal with delusional thinking on this subject? It’s amazing how otherwise smart, educated people around the world can get fat and blame everything outside of themselves for their failure. I’m getting death

Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Interview Steve Siebold on NBC’s Today Show Tuesday, August 4, at 10:30am EST

I’m headed to New York to be a guest on the NBC’s Today Show. My good friend Mark Victor Hansen was thier guest today, and he was dynamite as usual. The interview started out being centered around my new book, Die Fat or Get Tough: 101 Differences in Thinking Between Fat People and Fit People. There have been dozens of news stories written about the book around the country, and many of them have chosen to demonize the messenger instead of evaluating the message. This is classic middle class thinking, which the press is not immune to. That being said, I’m

Oprah is DEAD Wrong

Oprah Winfrey, who has struggled with her weight for many years, doled out the worst piece of advice last week I’ve ever heard her give: She told Kirsty Alley, the now obese, former Jenny Craig spokes model/actress that she shouldn’t “set herself up” for failure by setting a date for her weight loss. I’ve never been so disappointed in a role model, and later it made me really angry. I LOVE Oprah. Everyone loves Oprah. But it made me angry that the richest woman in the world, and more importantly, the most influential woman in the world, would be so thoughtlessly
