Secret to Fearless Performance

What’s the secret to fearless performance? How do you overcome your fears to get what you want? I suppose there are many answers to this question, but I have a unique strategy that I used to build my dream life, many years ago. I’ll admit that it’s a little negative, and maybe even twisted, but it worked for me and many others far more successful than yours truly. Watch this short video (6 min) and see what you think. This one strategy changed my life, and who knows, it may be the one thing standing between you and world-class success.

Living an Unrestricted Existence

When I read The Fountainhead, by Ayn Rand, back in 1982, I was struck by the concept of living an unrestricted existence. One of the characters in the book spoke of this, and it became my ultimate goal. Imagine doing what you want, when you want, with whom you want, for as long as you want without ever having to answer to anyone ever again. Watch this short video I recorded in the studio at the Mansion, and I’ll look forward to your comments.

Stop Caring

The most debilitating addiction is not booze, drugs or sex. It’s the addiction to the approval of other people. The reality is that few people care about what we do, whom we marry or which profession we pursue. They’re busy enough worrying about their own problems to invest any meaningful amount of time judging ours. Yet in 30+ years of building businesses, delivering speeches, writing books and coaching people in psychological performance, I’ve found the primary obstacle people face is an obscure obsession with being liked, loved and respected by others, some of whom they don’t know or even like. The

Tough Guy?

In my 30+ years in building/operating businesses in 10 countries around the world, I’ve discovered that the rarest of skills is emotional toughness. I’ve worked with SuperBowl Champions, World Series Winners and Olympic Gold Medalists, and only a tiny percentage of them were able to transfer their toughness beyond their sport. It turns out that tough guys (and gals) are hard to find. My new book, due for release in 2019, deals with this issue, and I’m searching for examples of people who have proven they are the real deal. Not big talkers; but big doers. If this is you, watch

Are You Motivated or Inspired?

Are you motivated to achieve your goals, or are you inspired? Most people don’t know the difference, including most coaches. This is one of the fundamental distinctions between average and 7-figure coaches. You ever wonder why Nick Saban, coach of Alabama football, earns $11 million per year while the average high school football coach in the state of Alabama earns less than $50K? Watch this short video for an important part of the answer.   Video Transcript:   Hello everyone, this is Steve Siebold back with mentaltoughnessblog.com. Critical thinking question for you today. Coaching Approval Addiction
