America is the melting pot of the world, yet all American’s seem to share the most powerful emotional motivator. This is what bin Laden and his band of thugs failed to recognize when they attacked. People have underestimated America for over 200 years because they don’t understand the collective consciousness of the country. It’s what makes America such a special place on the planet. With it, we have become the most prosperous nation in the history of civilization. Without it, we would be a middle of the road country. In mental toughness training, uncovering what drives you emotionally is one of the first steps in the process. Once you know what you’re willing to fight for, it’s just a matter of time before your vision becomes reality. America knows it’s emotional motivator. Do you know yours? ( 5:59 )

  1. steve,

so how can I put my emotional motivator into one word or one sentence?

usually married people will say..oh, my kids..are my emotional motivators..or my family..

my emotional motivator is somewhat “complex..”…i will explain below and maybe you can advice how I can crystalize it and make it more focused so that I can gain more mental energy from it!

what motivates me the most emotionally..and keep me keeping on when all things fail…

its the greatestness and the peace of mind that I FEEL EMOTIONALLY whenever I help people to change their life and make sure they don’t make the same mistake that I did.

This tranquility and the feeling of being somebody and making a difference for people out there surpass all the pain that I will have to go through in order for me to do what I have to do to help these people.

see, it all began when I made a mistake when I was 18 years old. We came from a very poor family. I did something wrong. As a result of that mistake, I suffered emotionally and was buried in guilt, and made more mistakes after that for the next 12 years..

The pain and suffering that I went through all these years is just excruciating. human beings either avoid pain or seek pleasure, right? for all the pain that I went through, I just don’t want anyone else on earth to go thru’ the same suffering and pain that I went thru’

so, I have this ambition and vision and dream: I want to change the world. I want to change people’s life and make an impact. BECAUSE I REMEMBER MY SUFFERING AND I DON’T WANT OTHERS TO FEEL THAT.

Largely, I made the mistake that I made at 18 because we were poor we didn’t have money. That is why I build my business in financial services and I want to educate people how money works.

If only my family had a little bit more money, or my older sister that died in a car accident at a young age of 20 had had a life insurance policy for us, my life would have been drastically different in the last 15 years.

That is why I choose what I do. I sell life insurance and I teach people how to invest and save. And I believe in it…so adamantly..that I drive away anyone else that try to stop me from achieving my dream..

I mean IT FEELS GREAT! to be able to change people’s life to change the way they plan financially..!!

I gain pleasure – the sense of fulfillment when I change someone’s life and make sure they are not going to go thru’ the pain I went thru’. I avoid pain..the sense of fulfillment I get from helping others eliminate the pain I have had for years, more or less.

    Its the sense of mission…

so Steve, how can I summarize my emtional motivator into one word or a sentence??!!

the masses just don’t get are right.

I was talking to my co-worker about this emotional motivator thing land this world class thing last saturday…he kinda brushed me aside…

he told me his family had 15 million cash – USD – when they first came to U.S…over the years..their biz went down..they lost their they are just another “ordinary” family living on this land of liberty.

sp he told me his motivator is to gain that wealth back..

when I tried to help him explore a bit further what is it about gaining back the wealth that is so important to him…he didn’t get what I mean..(yes, I was trying to help him figure out the EMOTIONAL element of this motivator that he has).

You are very right..the masses just don’t get it..I must have told at least 100 people about the fabulous mental toughness class that I took at the beginning of this year..and I have been spreading world class beliefs, thoughts, class emotional people..but I would say only 2 to 3 people of the 100 even pay attention to it..

I gave them books and CD..they still don’t get it!!!

I guess there is such a slight difference if any at all between emotional motivator and the regular “motivator.” very often people misunderstood it and think they motivator is money..hence the term “money-motivated.”

I believe there should be something deeper about this EMOTIONAL motivator thing.

I would love to hear what you have to say about a summarized version for Francesca’s “emotional motivator!”

    best and merry christmas,

  2. God question, this is something we should all be pondering and keep in mind so we are up to date on what drives us, and having a personal vision is key here in my opinion.

My greatest individual high points have come when I´m on stage performing as a lead singer. So music and singing is definitely up there a nr. 1.

Second on my list are the moments when I succeed in inspiring a person to dare a little more, to think a little bigger, to take the next step. Knowing that you´ve positively affected some one else is a great feeling. On a small scale, I try to do this on the street every day, it´s amazing how many people with a sad look on their face that can be cheered up with a simple smile and a slight nod towards them when passing by. Picked this one up from a top performer I´ve admired and studied, you might want to interview him some day Steve, his name is Jon Bon Jovi 😉

Freedom is the main thing for me; freedom to spend my days in a productive environment with people who´s company I enjoy doing what I love to do. I´ve finally realized this will take financial freedom, so I’ve made plans and taken initial action on that one actually a few days ago.

I´ve summed this up into a purpose statement I read every day in addition to my vision:

My purpose is to be a source of joy, hope and inspiration to the people around me by being a great example of how amazing life can be when a person chooses to use his/her FREEDOM to DARE to win, to follow one’s intuition and heart, and give it all one’s got and enjoy life every day.

    Have a great day folks.
