Are You Following the Old or New Business Model?

Times are changing. The critical thinking question is, are you changing fast enough for the times? It’s easy to say but hard to do in this fast paced, exhilarating world. Unprecedented problems present big opportunities. These are exciting times. Are you taking advantage of new ideas and innovations? Are you thinking about your business in new ways? Watch this short video I shot at Fox News in Minneapolis, and I’ll look forward to your comments.  Steve Siebold  (1:50) [media id=160]

Critical Thinking on Unions

Unions are holding America back from being competitive. They served their purpose but are no longer relevant in the 21st century. Companies will continue moving to non-union states because of the ridiculous wages they are forced to pay union workers. I’ve been physically threatened by union workers for not hiring them in Seattle, Cleveland and Chicago, and this mob mentality has got to go. The 20th century is over and it’s time to abolish unions. Watch this short video I taped in Madison, Wisconsin, where the issue of collective bargaining has reached fever pitch. I’ll look forward to your comments. Steve

Your Success Philosophy

In personal development we talk a lot about beliefs, but the truth is beliefs are often rooted in our core philosophy. Many of us adopt the philosophy of our parents, teachers, religious leaders, coaches and others of influence in childhood. Sometimes this is good but more often it’s limiting. Watch this short video on tracking your philosophical influence and I’ll look forward to your comments. Steve Siebold (2:14) [media id=157]

Should Government Control Your Body?

As an American citizen, I’m embarrassed to tell my friends and colleagues overseas that our government believes it has the right to tell us what we can and can’t do with our own bodies. As a mental toughness coach to some of the largest sales teams in the world, I find it downright offensive. I just gave a speech in Washington, DC and and an interview on FOX, and it got me thinking of how childish and hypocritical some of these laws are. Example: You can drink alcohol until it kills you but smoking pot is illegal. If you’re terminally ill

What’s Your Mental Toughness Score?

World-class performers succeed because they are fearless most of time. How about you? On a scale of 1-7, 7 being best, how fearless are you? (most of the time)  Are you moving toward what you want or away from what you don’t want? Watch this short video I shot in Manhattan this morning and give yourself an objective rating. I’ll look forward to your comments.  Steve Siebold  (2:50) [media id=153]

The Power of Mediocrity

Are you a perfectionist? Do you have the need to win at everything you do? Are you hyper-competitive? Postive thinking purists love to talk about never settlling for less, but in the spirit of critical thinking, could going for the gold in every area of your life actually be costing you? Watch this short video and see what you think. I’ll look forward to your comments.   Steve Siebold ( 3:05 ) [media id=145]

Identifying Your Primary Money-Making Skill

Ever since the recession began, I’ve been bombarded with questions about how to make money. After interviewing millionaires for almost three decades, I’ve identified one of their most important skills: the ability to focus their efforts on the primary skill, product or process that generates revenue. You don’t have to be a rocket scientist to get rich, but you do have to have laser-like focus on generating profit. Watch this short video and see if you can answer these two critical thinking questions.  I’ll look forward to your comments.   Steve Siebold  ( 3:21 ) [media id=133]
