  1. I just read part of ‘How Rich People Think’ — it’s fabulous advice, and I thank you for sharing your knowledge, experience and encouragement.
I know that one of the greatest obstacles that I’ve overcome is immediately making a decision on people who are time wasters and liars. Thank you for your help.

  2. Hi Steve,

I have found your training to be outstanding, however hesitant to invest money, that I would have to borrow when I could have a very short time to recovery my investment.

I’m 73 with Heart Disease, Diabetes, and a Family who have all left us in their 60’s. I’m looking for smaller term opportunities with guidance from you and your company.

How do you set up these blogs?

    Thanks

    Ron

  4. I have walk many roads in my life i am 39 years old and my passion is to speak out to tell those you can get past all the mirrors built from the physical world i’m a author and a speaker and im a single mother so keep my passion to get the message out i will agree it is a mental state for poverty a rich person can be rich and have a poverty mind set which can come from fear, and doubt, and the self chatter that comes from the mouth to the ears see to live in prosperity requires first of working on inner self spiritually with in i know because see the world can bring on different barriers from the mental and physical and emotional state you have to first let go of things from child hood see their is a deep cleansing that has to be done within a person i was blessed to have god give me the tools to show other’s if you are welling to learn the tools i would be glad to share thank you steve for your words and teachings you are the best i hope to grow up like you to help our youth and women and men see living in the wealth first your wealth begins with you and your faith then it moves up in ladders many blessings to all

  5. The video has added some level of validation to my personal thought process.
After reading that allegedly 1% of the population owns close to 50% of the wealth, I was staggered. Let’s be perfectly clear, I was not and I am not at all resentful of the top 1% …I was staggered by own personal position in the equation. I was even more staggered when I considered my personal place in the consumer space and workforce.
It has been said that, poverty is not a state of finances, but rather is a state of mind. True. The same has to be true both for mediocrity and prosperity.
Mediocrity in my opinion is the 1st cousin to poverty. Prosperity requires individual accountability and responsibility for our individual quality of living.

  6. I spent 9.5 years in the Air Force in Special Operations. I always thought that mental toughness was overcoming pain, fear, etc… This I was able to do. But this is a new take for me on the subject. I enjoyed your comments.

  7. I stumble upon this course less than a week ago and I have finished all 10
parts because I was so eager to get this information into my system. I saw a chance to hear free information and I was ready. It has really been helpful and I feel more prepared having watched this training. I also know what more I need to do to really have a successful speaking career.

  8. Your exactly right Steve! I think the only thing that you can have is a positive mental attitude but that still isn’t enough…
    Cheers Will

  9. Fear is the father of all negative emotions. There is no room for fear in an emotional garden dominated by the positive traits of courage, determination, focus, forgiveness, love, self reliance, self improvement, self confidence, hard work, happiness and self esteem. Examples of objects of fears – spiders, snakes, ghosts, books, “enemies”, computers, work, guns, mathematics, public speaking, blood, poverty, prison yard, darkness, failures, heights, rats, rains, food, driving, flying, public rejection, hair, aging, cats, thunder, technology, change, pregnancy, opposite sex, noise, fight, wars, strangers…. – Our mind is playing tricks on us. I have learnt to stick with the Master Mind Alliance consisting of World Class thinkers like Bob Proctor, Brian Tracy, Robert Kiyosaki, Hannes Dreyer and Steve Siebold, to name but a few….– ezeobi2000@yahoo.com

  10. Joseph Ezeobi from Lagos, NigeriaThe great masters, geniuses, inventors, extraordinary leaders in different professions and generations share (d) one singular characteristic: the ability to elevate personal, mental and emotional faculties from the pedestr says:

The great masters, geniuses, inventors, extraordinary leaders in different professions and generations share (d) one singular characteristic: the ability to elevate personal, mental and emotional faculties from the pedestrian level to the positive heights. They consistently, attuned their positive emotions in close, functional proximity to the realm of the Supreme Intelligence, whence comes the creative impetus to all new ideas and break through known to man. Ponder this statement for a while and practice the underlying principles. Personality is a function of the individual’s capacity to harmonize personal vision, focus and inspiration with that realm of Universal Intelligence. Does this horizon of Creativity not conform to the age-old view of an omniscient, omnipresent and omnipotent Being? Cultivate the habit of observing and analyzing the superlative performers around you. What do you find? Consistently successful people exhibit a remarkable penchant for hard work, community service, generosity, humility, an adventurous spirit and a stickler for persistent progress. I am happy to make Steve one of my Master Mind Alliance. Best regards

  11. I’m very thankful for the Mental Toughness Course and I realize that today I have a choice and I choose to believe that God has a plan for my life and what was setbacks in my life will become a promotion to help others become whole in their thinking

  12. Yes, fear is the father of all negative emotions. The victims of fear are always lazy, keeping backward company, closed minded, jealous, short sighted. Great job, Steve. Please, request a copy of my Possibilities Mindset- How to Kill Fears. My email: ezeob2000@yahoo.com,

  13. Hi Steve, I am currently reading 3 of your books and I like them a lot!
You’re free course was great and kept my interst piqued. I have done some public speaking and I’m ready to take it to the next level!

    Thanks again….

  14. Hi Steve,

Your mental toughness topic is teaching me so much, although I feel that I already had it in me. It’s bringing out an even bigger mental toughness. So thank you so much.

I am currently studying one of your courses on how to become a speaker and I must say it is well worth it. It may take me a bit to catch onto the big stuff, but I’m patiently learning and acknowledging who I am and where I want to be.

Thanks for Giving back by offering this free course. It means a great deal to me and hopefully to so many others.

    Thank you and Be blessed,

  15. The people that say you should not have an opinion are themselves living within their own opinion. We all see things differently. Everybody is entitled to have their own opinion, the truth within that opinion is for you to decide. For those who are Christian, it is not for us to judge only to love unconditionally. That includes those of opinion, color, status, race, or sexual orientation. I love learning from others opinions and how they may or may not reflect my own opinion or point of view.
Thanks for your points of view Steve.

  16. Addiction is such a vast area because every walk of society can be addicted to something, someone or drugs. Every one has to find there own path to staying sober and finding The God of their own understanding. Let’s not be jusgemental because addition does not discriminate. Red, black, white, brown, rich, poor and the middle class can become overshelmed by the “good feeling” of using any mood altering or mind altering substance, people, places or things.

  17. Steve,
I was extremely surprised and very dissapointed that you decided to comment on this event. I purchased your book and follow your site to learn about and develop mental toughness, not to hear your opinions on social issues and politics. I do not feel it is your your place to push your personal opinions on your customers. I really feel that you should have left this one alone. We all have different views and opinions on certain issues for different reasons. If you are not a fan of Rush Limbaugh then that is your personal right, but you should not be trying to indoctrinate your listeners to your way of thinking about him. Perhaps Rush was out of line on this incident and mis spoke but lets not lose sight of the main issue and crucify Rush for a bad moment. The main issue is that once again this current administratin is over-reaching with mandates in the health bill! You are simply using this type of an incident to distract people from what the main issue is. It was this girls own choice to speak out and voice her opinion in front of congress, therefore she has opened herself up to others making statements about it. She knew this going in. It is shocking to me that she actually beleives that the taxpayers should pay for her birth control pills! That is a personal choice that she has made for herself and should not be forced onto others. Please stick to what you are good at and what people follow you for, Menatal Toughness. And keep your political and social agenda to yourself.
    Steve O.

    1. Steven,
This post was not on politics, but on critical thinking. I believe I’m qualified to talk about that since I advise major companies on this issue every day. I’m disapointed that you don’t think I have the right to the same self expression as everyone else. If you think this is a big deal, wait until you see my next book! The fun is just beginning, my friend! Thanks for your comments.
      Steve

  18. Hello, Steve my name is Randy, your training is awsome. I am learning so much, I thought I came accross you by accident, but I realize this is God. Still soaking this stuff in, love you bro.

    Randy

P.S. Thanks for being my mentor.

  19. I think that people should be allowed to make choices about their life without having to explain it to anyone. Whether someone is Gay or not is not our business. What is our business is, is to manage our own lives.

  20. Think that people should be allowed to live as they wish as long as it’s not harmful. What people do with their life is privite and their choice. they goverment spends so much time in other peoples lives and trying to persude our thinking. We must learn how to think for ourselves!!

  21. Seriously folks…do you really know what ‘Occupy Wall Street’ really is? Do you homework…They are protesting the social and economic INEQUALITY…CORPORATE GREED, INFLUENCE OVER GOVERNMENT PARTICULARLY THE FINANCIAL SERVICES SECTOR & LOBBYIST. The protesters’ slogan ‘we are the 99%’refers to the difference in WEALTH and income growth in the U.S. between the wealthiest 1% and the rest of the population. From most of these comments I gather you all are part of the 1% because clearly you do not understand what the point is. And if you think it is about giving a hand out and that these people are idiots then you really don’t know what the issues are. Everyone has the right to assemble and have their own opinion about whatever…does not make them idiots. And this from intelligent, well spoken adults that go around spreading the word about motivation and inspiration.
Steve, not everyone is a leader or great speaker, like you and some of your followers. I aspire to be a great speaker and make an 6 figure income…I aspire to be a part of the that 1%… but, I work, raise children, pay a lot of taxes… and I am part of that 99%. I am not an idiot nor do I want a hand out if I loose my job.I bet I pay more taxes than you and all of your bloggers put together . I come from a long line of inventors and entrepreneurs in my culture. Some folks would rather keep the contributions we made to America hidden so you don’t have to acknowledge them. Should companys be responsible for jobs and job creation…first of all, it is a stupid question…what is this country built on….PEOPLE GOING TO WORK…TO BUILD…TO GROW THE ECONOMY…DAH. So if the company does not need the manpower anymore, and there is no job…does the company survive or go out of business? To say to people who have worked all their lives and have now lost their jobs because of the downturn in the economy, may loose their house, have already lost their retirement nest egg, but still have to pay taxes at the 40% and above tax rate, that all they want is a hand out, that they are idiots and they should grow up is totally ignorant and insensitive. You all really need to do your homework…just Google and you will learn that the OWS in NYC consisted of ;1/3 were older than 35, half were employed full-time, 13% were unemployed. That is just a sampling of information. I would suggest that prior to your interview with the newspaper you might want to be more informed about what is really going on. No one out there protesting is making as much money as you…think about it. If I were part of the 1% I am sure I would have a different view of things also.

  22. All well said, Bringing in church or a methodology has nothing to do with what is.
I would say conflict arises because of society saying gays and Lesbians are not normal. What if we(gays and lesbians) are higher evolved to become closer to the One. What if the judgement of the books of all religions is the teaching for us to transcendence to the next level or be with God? If you believe in all possibilities, we can not have one with out the opposite. I say, stay neutral and appreciate life and its blessings.
If a woman biologically has develop the masculinity side and utilizes both traits, is she not one, or whole or complete? I believe I have experienced the feminine and the masculinity to unite the whole body as one. I am not dependent on a person to complete me. So I am saying the parts have come together. The man or masculinity side wants to be appreciate,to protect, to please,to provide for a woman and have freedom. The woman or feminine want to be honored, cherish, understood and does not want to be abandon.
I have personally done work on my mother issues and father issues. And I am still attracted to the female body, mind and spirit.
Up until now,Having been with a man and a woman, I have question is it a choice? As lady Ga GA would sing “I was Born This Way”

  23. SPEECH

I hope you feel wonderful today.:

There is a good reason to feel the way you felt in the yesterday. You have
gone through a learning program. In order to succeed you need to find
out where you stand within the heirarchy of needs.

    CHOOSE WHERE TO BEGIN:

    1. IF YOUR NEEDS ARE JUST TO SURVIVE, THEN BE THE BEST SURVIVOR THAT YOU
    CAN BE.

    2. IF YOUR NEEDS ARE TO SURVIVE IN THE FUTURE; START MAKING THOSE PLANS
NOW. FEATHER YOUR NEST. MAKE YOUR ENVIRONMENT STABLE SO THAT YOU HAVE
    A SOLID FOUNDATION.

    3. IF YOUR NEEDS ARE TO NETWORK FOR SUCCESS, GO OUT AND BE WITH PEOPLE.
CLASSES, LECTURES, SOCIAL GATHERINGS, AND CLUBS TO FIND SOCIAL ACCEPTANCE.

    4. IF YOUR NEEDS ARE TO FEEL IMPORTANT, MODEL SUCCESS IN OTHERS AND THEN
TAKE THE RESPONSIBILITY TO LEAD. LEADERSHIP: FIND THE GOOD IN OTHERS. THEN
    HELP THEM SUCCEED.

    5. YOU CAN SHORTCUT THE WHOLE PROCESS BY GIVING TO OTHERS WITHOUT THE
EXPECTATION OF A RETURN. BUT……GIVE ONLY IF YOU HAVE THE ABILITY TO GIVE.
BUT…….GIVE ONLY TO OTHERS WHEN THEY ARE RECEIVING.

    6. WE ARE ALL CHILDREN. WE ARE HERE ON EARTH TO TAKE CARE OF THE CHILDREN.
YOU …..ARE …..MY CHILD AND I AM….YOUR CHILD. PLEASE TAKE CARE OF US.

LET’S GET A JOB MAKING LOTS OF MONEY WHERE THERE IS NO PREPARATION, NO
STUDY, NO RISK, …….NOW, THERE’S A VISION. WHERE IN THE WORLD DOES THIS
    HAPPEN?????

  24. its my first time on the blog
