One of the greatest mental toughness secrets of the world class is laughing in the face of fear and uncertainty. If you’ve ever lost everything you own, you know it’s not funny. But the way you represent any event in your mind will determine how your mind and body responds to it. I can remember waking up in the middle of the night, my heart pounding out of my chest terrified on how I would pay the rent after losing everything I had. What I learned was the one thing no one can take from you is the way you think. I decided to take a tip from the great ones I had interviewed over the years and laugh at my lot in life. I decided to tell myself I was best under pressure and I would be a millionaire again in 5 years. My midnight worry turned into working until midnight, and things started turning around. 5 years later I was earning 7-figures again. What I learned was no matter how bad it gets, if you learn to lighten up and laugh at yourself and the craziness of life, you’ll be healthier, happier, and in the right mindset to win again. Listen to this post for more ideas in this area and laugh all the way to the bank! You can do it! Steve Siebold (6:30)

I’ve heard a statement from Albert Einstein:
“In the midst of chaos, lies opportunity”.
We’ve been so conditioned to rely on the system to live/survive that when “chaos” strikes, i.e., unemployment, etc., we think there is no other way. We have to learn to think and act on the way you speak of it or we will forever be enslaved and poorly react to every downturn, that will occur, because downturns are part of life too.
that was awesome, after all the Crisis, “Crisis”, It’s a crisis, talk,
what you are talking about is truly the foundation of this country.
Damn the torpedoes, full speed ahead.
Rome.
