Start with a Dream

By

Have you ever wondered where world-class performers start? If you’ve ever felt overwhelmed along your journey to success, don’t feel bad, because all of us have. The great news is your feelings of overwhelm are an indication of your burning desire to succeed. After interviewing some of the most successful people in the world over the past 26 years, I have great news: they’re no smarter than us. With mental toughness you have the potential to do anything you want to do. Do you believe that? Many people don’t. Watch this video I filmed during the European leg of my book tour and see what YOU think. (We had a problem with the camera, so the picture is not as clear as usual, but the point is powerful) Check it out and I’ll look forward to your comments on this important subject.   Steve Siebold  ( 4:58 )

  1. I’m beginning to understand the importance of audio blogging (or audio posts). After watching a few of yours, I’ve adjusted quite well. 🙂 With newness there’s always a little resistance. Getting these audios out gets others to see who you are, and rather than write a terribly long blog, you can give highlights or a shorter version of what you do in quick time, and at the same time, improve your speaking skills. Thanks Steve.

    First… don’t sell yourself short… with a bit of practice you’d be a great QB! 🙂

Second… the simple advice to solve a problem is really spot on. In my own experience I’ve found that I try to solve the worlds problems… in reality you just need to solve problems for some of the world. There is SO much opportunity out there!

Thanks to everyone for your comments. I travel with the Kodak Zi8 camera and audio technica microphone. You can get the camera at Amazon.com and the microphone at http://www.worldclassaudiovideo.com The whole setup was less than $300.

  4. You are right Steve. We need to believe in possibilities, and our own abilities. Thanks for the great scenery in this clip of Brighton Beach, England 🙂

  5. You are right Steve, as a L.A. local it does look like the Santa Monica Pier. Also the most mentally tough visionary of our time made his name here when he built Disneyland. Similar to swimming the English Channel, Walt’s crack pot idea of a World Class Amusement Park was of course “impossible.”

The biggest opportunity is always in the impossible!

    Enjoy the UK Steve.

    Thanks Steve,

I’ve identified a big problem I can help people solve.

The phone prospecting skillset you taught me in about 1999/2000 is going to be super valuable in helping me reach those people.

By getting your message out about how people can use their skillset, talents, and interest to help people solve problems.

The world is going to be a better place and many lives will touched and improved by your message… that you’ll never know about.

Keep spreading your good word around the globe!
    People helping people… solve problems.

    Many thanks.

  8. Le Kangareau Man says:

Zo! We meet again Talking Man!

I do have ze problem!! It eez a big big problem!! And only YOU, my tall American friend, can zolve this problem for me!! Oui!

I zee you standing on the Anglais pebbles from my french chateau on the shore of Saint Kangareau-en-hop across the French Channel and Sacre Bleu! I can see the Talking Man from where I sit!! What of my view??? Ruined with the help of a tall speaking man!!!

Not since that first Englishman came splashing and waddling ashore all those years ago have I been so flummoxed! Ruining my view gasping and stumbling with whale fat all over him!I remember that man telling me that he was the first person to swim the channel! I was outraged!! He was clearly mistaken!! We French were the first! It’s just that nobody did zee us do it! We did it underwater with only a delicate white wine sauce to protect us!!! Mon Dieu! Sacrilege!!

And now yet again my view is ruined!! OuI… I have a problem! You! You tall speaking person!

It eez no dream! It eez a nightmare!!

None-the-less… I love your messarge! Very touching, in a tall kinda way!

    Au Revoir!

  9. Steve,

This is a great video. Find a problem and match it up with a skill set. BRILLIANT!, as they say in England. 🙂 Carol Gates told me I reminded her of you just a tad bit, so I thought I’d come say hi and see who this guy is. 🙂 Have a great trip and drop by my site sometime and say hi. http://www.cshughes.com

    Success!
