Is Anything Possible?

By

Do you believe anything is possible? I don’t mean living in a delusional fantasy state of mind, but in the mindset of possibility within the realm of your reach…and maybe a little beyond. Watch this short video (2:14 ) I shot yesterday on the beach and I’ll look forward to your comments.

  1. I heard the great speaker Doug Wead say one time that if you do the work – even if you don’t believe it – you’ll get the result. It’s easier if you believe, but it’s not required.

On the surface, that would seem to contradict the mental toughness process that beliefs lead to consciousness, which leads to habits, actions & behaviors.

However – it’s the habits, actions and behaviors that create the world we want to live in. And many (most) times, we fail to take action because we lack belief.

This is where “positive thinking” falls short – you can believe all you want, but without action, nothing will change.

As Bill Gove said: “the power of Positive Doing!” 🙂

    Wiz…

  2. I would just LOVE to say that I believe everything is possible and I never have moments of doubt. And of course, I CAN say it. It just wouldn’t be the truth. 🙂 But, feeding my mind with reinforcement allows me to recover from those moments. You made me wish for a moment that I was on the beach :-). This was a necessary reminder this morning.

  3. Tim Morell says:

Steve– what’s with the long sleeves? C’mon man…you gotta sell the scene!
Just kidding. As always, listening to you starts the week the way it needs to be started!

    Always the best,

  4. Matt Harmon says:

I like to think that I have the level of belief necessary to achieve world class results. But I also ask myself “if that’s the case, why haven’t I achieved that yet?” I think I believe it’s possible for me, but feeling worthy and putting the necessary effort are the other two components that have kept me from getting there so far. I consistently work on those and I feel like I’m making progress. I’m constantly looking for ways to accelerate the process.

  5. Casey says:

I think there is a force inside. If you want something with all of your mind, soul and will then nothing can stop you. At that point, the powerful forces of nature take over and any power of man is rendered irrelevant/insignificant. Barriers fall, obstacles drop to the side and enemies are neutralized.

The best way I can say it is “If I have faith, the size of a mustard seed, then I can tell the mountain to move”

  6. I can tell you that “believing anything is possible” will not get you want you want, however without that belief you have no chance. If you don’t have that belief then you better go change your thinking and find it! Then create a plan to get what you want. Without the belief and without a plan, you have a zero chance of getting much of anything.

You can either believe and act, or be delusional and do nothing. In the end, you get what you are.

Here is to putting your belief into action.

  7. Butch Phelps says:

A belief is nothing more than a thought you keep thinking. Without the belief you are a millionaire, you will never be a millionaire. I always believe I can do anything I want to do. Otherwise you will never accomplish anything you want.

  8. Cheri Coleman says:

Awesome question Steve! I do believe that anything is possible, the word
“impossible” simply says “I’m possible”! If I can see my dream, visualize my dream, I can achieve my dream!

Being passionate about what I want to achieve is very important to achieving all that is possible for my life!!!
