Eugene O’Kelly was one of the great ones in the Fortune 500. He was a visionary who achieved the American dream of massive success, great fortune, and a beautiful family. Life couldn’t have been more perfect. Then on May 24, 2005, he went to his doctor who told him he had 3 months to live. His lifetime of plans dwindled down to 100 days, leaving him just enough time to say goodbye. During those last 100 days of Eugene O’Kelly’s life, he wrote a book about how he managed his death the way any great CEO would. This is one of those books you just can’t put down. Atlas Shrugged: Mental Toughness Masterpiece?

5o years ago Ayn Rand penned one of the most popular novels of the 20th century; Atlas Shrugged. This work has a cult-like following around the world, but is especially popular with entrepreneurs. Critics have spoken out against it for years and kept it out of the schools. If you’ve read this Mental Toughness Masterpiece, I’d like to hear your comments on the impact it had on your life. If you haven’t, do yourself a favor and read it or listen to it on CD.
