Archive for World Class Thinking
Over the past 18 years as a full-time professional speaker, I’ve worked with most of of the top thought leaders in the personal development space. My conclusion today is the same as it was back in 1996: Mental Toughness, the ability to control and manipulate your emotions combined with iron-like persistence, is the key to the world-class success. In my mind, that’s a given. The critical thinking question we all have to ask ourselves is; “do I have the mental toughness to get what I really want out of life?” Not what you’ll settle for, but what you actually want. Watch this short video I taped at the Civil War Battlefield at Kennesaw Mountain, Georgia, where one of the bloodiest battles of the civil war was fought. I’ll look forward to your comments.
In 1620, the Pilgrims had the mental toughness to leave their homes and sail across the ocean to begin a new life. That took a lot of guts. My critical thinking question for you is “What habit, action or behavior, if you had the guts to employ it, would have the biggest impact on your life?” Watch this short video I taped yesterday in front of The Mayflower in historic Plymouth, Mass. and I’ll look forward to your comments.
I’m searching for my next $10,000 per day Mental Toughness University Licensee/Apprentices. If you’ve ever dreamed of teaching world-class content to multinational corporations, this may be the program for you. Visit www.speakersapprentice.com. Application deadline is July 31, 2014.
If your goal is world-class success, your level of desire will most likely be the key factor in whether or not you achieve it. Watch this short video on how to quantify your desire.
Getting mentally tough means eliminating psychological delusion from your life, or at least as much as possible. Watch this short video I shot in Dallas after my interview on ABC News and I’ll look forward to your comments.
I’ve been traveling through South & Latin America, and the damage the U.S. drug laws have done to these countries and their people is shameless. The merciless drug cartels south of the border have taken over. The majority of demand for drugs comes from the United States, due to the so-called, failed war on drugs. Our jails are full of people doing hard time for drug possession and it needs to end. Watch this short video I taped in Key Largo, and I’ll look forward to your comments.
In the past few weeks I’ve received hate mail and even calls from the national media after delivering this quote: “If your net worth is the average of your five friends, is it time to make some new friends?” Watch this short explanation I taped while skiing in Deer Valley, Utah last week, and I’ll look forward to your comments.
At Mental Toughness University, we’ve been using the Mental Toughness Formula with the largest sales teams in the world for nearly 20 years, and it never fails to clarify people’s thinking while cutting through psychological self-delusion. Watch this short video (1:59) I shot in Atlanta and I’ll look forward to your comments.

On Sunday night I walked the 500 foot long Red Carpet at the Academy Awards with legendary actor Harrison Ford, and had an interesting exchange with him afterwards with a Mental Toughness lesson built into it. Watch this short video I shot after the show and I’ll look forward to your comments.
I’m headed to Hollywood for the 86th Annual Academy Awards, and I want to share what I believe is the greatest Mental Toughness Speech ever delivered in an Oscar-winning movie. Watch this short video I taped in Palm Beach, Florida and then watch the Oscar-winning scene below. And look for me on the Red Carpet this Sunday, March 2 at the Oscars.
